MHE Specialist (m/w/d)
Join Element Logic as an MHE Specialist and play a key role in supporting and optimizing state-of-the-art automated warehouse and material handling solutions!
As an MHE Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting, troubleshooting, and maintaining automated material handling and warehouse automation solutions. The role ensures stable system operations by managing incidents, performing technical investigations, identifying root causes, and coordinating corrective actions. The position acts as a technical resource for both customers and internal stakeholders throughout the incident lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and resolve incidents related to material handling equipment, warehouse control systems, and automation software.
Perform technical troubleshooting, system analysis, and root cause investigations.
Monitor system performance and investigate operational deviations affecting system availability and throughput.
Analyze application logs, alarms, database information, and transaction flows.
Investigate and troubleshoot integrations between software platforms, automation systems, and external applications.
Document findings, actions, and resolutions in accordance with company processes.
Communicate status, findings, and recommendations to customers and internal stakeholders.
Coordinate activities with engineering teams, project teams, suppliers, and local service organizations when required.
Contribute to knowledge management, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Competence
Knowledge of automated warehouse systems, material handling systems, or industrial automation.
Understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS), warehouse control systems (WCS), and software-driven operational environments.
Experience in technical troubleshooting and incident management.
Knowledge of system integrations, interfaces, APIs, and message-based communication.
Experience working with SQL and relational databases.
Ability to analyze system logs, alarms, transaction data, and technical documentation.
Understanding of software architecture and object-oriented programming concepts.
Experience with C#, .NET, or similar programming languages sufficient to support advanced troubleshooting and technical analysis.
Understanding of PLC-controlled environments and interactions between software and automation equipment.
