Mentor and technically lead a team of data engineers.
Lead by example, design and actively participate in development and maintenance of rock-solid data pipelines.
Work closely with other teams to integrate new data sources, ensure data quality, and enable fast experimentation cycles.
Establish best practices and observability standards across the data platform, including data quality frameworks, testing, and cost monitoring.
Foster collaboration and a culture of ownership while driving continuous improvement of the data platform.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Data Engineering, or Information Systems.
Strong communication skills and the ability to lead and mentor engineers.
You ideally bring experience from a platform team that serves external stakeholders and can balance long‑term goals with short‑term needs
Experience working closely with cross functional teams to deliver data dependent solutions.
7+ years of hands-on experience building and operating scalable data pipelines in a cloud environment (Azure/AWS/GCP).
Strong programming skills in modern languages used for data processing (you will primarily work with PySpark, SQL, and Databricks native technologies).
Experience designing and maintaining reliable ETL/ELT workflows across ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and monitoring.
Solid understanding of data modelling, data quality frameworks, and best practices for building maintainable data platforms.
Familiarity with modern data stack components (e.g., Delta Lake, Spark, Databricks, Snowflake, Lakehouse patterns).
