Director of Systems Sales

As the Director of System Sales, you will the lead in driving sales success across the North American market by achieving ambitious targets, defining key market verticals, and mentoring a high-performing sales team. In this role, you’ll align strategic plans with business objectives, focusing on lead generation, sales reporting, and personnel development.

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets, generate new business opportunities, and identify growth areas through market and customer data analysis.
Build and maintain relationships with C-level and VP-level decision-makers, understanding their business needs to tailor solutions and foster long-term partnerships.
Analyze costs, competition, and industry trends to stay competitive and informed.
Lead contract negotiations, including reviewing terms and conditions, while collaborating closely with sales and marketing teams to secure and execute new business opportunities.
Work with the P&C team on recruiting and establish training and continuous improvement programs for the department.
Collaborate with the marketing team to design and execute campaigns targeting new markets and customers.
Travel within North America to meet clients, attend conferences, and pursue business opportunities through networking, events, and cold outreach.
Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment to develop creative solutions and drive success.
Desired skills and experience:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
5–10 years of experience in the material handling industry and/or industrial automation is preferred.
Expertise in sales and marketing principles and methodologies.
Deep understanding of material handling system integration processes and equipment.
Proven track record with a cumulative career total of $100M+ in project sales as an individual contributor.
Familiarity with market analysis and customer data evaluation to identify trends and opportunities.
Willingness to travel 25–40%, both domestically and internationally, with a valid driver’s license.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
