Senior Project Engineer

As a Senior Project Engineer at Element Logic, you turn customer needs into robust, high-performing intralogistics solutions. You’ll own the technical journey from early concept through detailed design and go-live, ensuring solutions are scalable, validated, and aligned with customer operations and Element Logic standards. You’ll create complete system layouts and 3D designs, coordinate suppliers, and work closely with Sales, project teams, and customers — including onsite during key phases — to turn complexity into clarity and deliver solutions that perform in real operations.

Responsibilities:
Own the customer journey from sales phase through to a fully designed and validated solution.
Act as technical lead for end-to-end system and process performance.
Design complex intralogistics solutions integrating hardware and software, including validated layouts, 3D models, and AutoCAD drawings.
Lead complex technical problem-solving and support commissioning and on-site activities when required.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key operational and technical stakeholders at customer sites.
Lead process and mechanical validation during the sales phase, ensuring alignment with customer site management.
Lead supplier engagement by translating system requirements into clear technical specifications.
Drive standardization of Element Logic conveyor solutions by leading supplier selection and defining design processes.
Identify and evaluate suppliers, prepare bills of materials (BOMs), issue RFQs (Requests for Quotation), and validate technical proposals.
Support procurement activities, including technical input to purchase orders when required.
Partner with Sales to define and secure the technical solution, leading technical discussions, drawing production, and supplier coordination.
Maintain strong market, supplier, and product knowledge to inform solution development.
Provide clear and structured reporting on solution status, risks, and progress to internal stakeholders.
This role requires periodic travel, up to approximately 25%, to support customer engagements and project activities at customer locations.
Desired skills and experience:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, industrial or others).
6+ years of experience in intralogistics or 3PL.
Relevant industry experience and knowledge of intralogistics, automation and/or complex logistics flows.
Proficient in 3D modeling software and AutoCAD.
Experience in project-based engineering positions and good understanding of project schedule and budget.
Demonstrated ability to manage numerous projects, opportunities, and deadlines.
Proven ability to reliably forecast and report on the status of proposals.
Proven ability to obtain, evaluate and compile pricing of opportunities. This includes presentation to management.
Proficiency in Spanish and English is required; both verbal and written.
