Senior UX Designer
Do you want to work on complex, business-critical products in a product-led company where UX directly shapes decisions and outcomes?
We’re looking for a Senior UX Designer with deep expertise in UX Research, someone who doesn’t just contribute to research, but leads it. You don’t start with solutions. You start with understanding.
At Element Logic, we see UX as a continuous loop, not a set of handoffs. But it starts with research. Understanding the problem space, what actually matters, what’s noise, and where the real opportunities are is the foundation for everything we build.
That means you’re comfortable applying research methodologies, and turning ambiguous input into clear, actionable insight. You challenge assumptions, validate direction early, and ensure we’re solving problems that are worth solving.
From there, you translate insight into structure, flows, and interaction patterns but always grounded in evidence. You don’t design based on opinion. You design based on what you know.
In this role, you’ll own both discovery and design, but with a clear expectation: research is your strongest discipline. You’ll raise the bar for how we work with insight across teams, and ensure that product decisions are driven by evidence, not guesswork.
You’ll be part of a cross-functional product trio (Product Manager, Tech Lead, Designer), owning UX from early discovery through delivery, with real influence on what gets built and why.
What you will be working on
Owning UX work end‑to‑end in complex, business‑critical digital products.
Planning and conducting qualitative and quantitative user research, and translating insights into clear problem definitions and design direction.
Designing user journeys, information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, and production‑ready interfaces by utilizing and maintaining our design system.
Working closely in a product trio with product managers and developers from discovery to delivery.
Ensuring solutions are user‑centred, technically feasible, and aligned with business objectives.
Using and contributing to our design system, UX principles, and ways of working.
Supporting implementation and acting as a professional role model through high‑quality delivery and knowledge sharing
Who we are looking for
Solid experience as a UX or product designer, preferably in complex B2B or enterprise environments
A holistic understanding of the full UX process, from research and analysis to interaction and visual design
Strong competence in user research, information architecture, and interaction design
Experience working in cross‑functional product teams with developers and product managers
A strong understanding of how design decisions impact users, technology, and business value
In-depth experience working with and contributing to design systems
The ability to balance user needs, technical constraints, and commercial goals
Clear and confident communication of insights, design rationale, and recommendations
Personal qualities
You’re analytical, structured, and comfortable operating in complexity. You take ownership of both the problem space and the solution space, and you ask the right questions before proposing answers. You’re confident challenging assumptions with data and insight.
You are a visible and confident communicator who is not afraid to express your opinions – also in front of larger audiences. You are able to clearly articulate, justify, and defend your perspectives, whether in presentations or strategic discussions. Through this, you help create clarity, momentum, and alignment across disciplines.
Workplace: Oslo, Norway
Start date: By agreement, as soon as possible
