Element Logic develops cutting-edge software that optimizes warehouse logistics for customers worldwide. We are now seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to help shape our next-generation technology platform and strengthen our DevOps culture across the organization.

As our Lead DevOps Engineer, you will own the development of our platform, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices. You will be part of the R&D organization, responsible for setting direction, building competence, and ensuring seamless collaboration between development and operations.

You will work closely with product and engineering teams to map our current platform, design future-proof architecture, and ensure our software is easy to install, configure, deploy, and support both internally and for customers.

This role is ideal for someone who thinks end-to-end, thrives in the intersection of Dev and Ops, and wants to influence both technical decisions and team culture.

Key responsibilities

• Work with product teams to map the current production platforms and plan a future platform that supports all software products without adding unnecessary complexity for customers

• Champion DevOps methodology and improve communication between development and operations

• Lead and prioritize the DevOps backlog — including infrastructure tasks and development of internal tools

• Act as the technical lead for DevOps team members

• Improve and modernize CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient, reliable delivery

• Evaluate and adopt new technologies and cloud services

• Promote continuous learning and team growth

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with a strong technical foundation and solid hands‑on experience within modern DevOps practices. To succeed in this role, you should have:

• A bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or a related technical field

• A minimum of 5 years of experience working in DevOps roles

• Deep understanding of DevOps principles and practices, including configuration as code

• Proven experience with cloud architecture and cloud‑based infrastructure

• Hands‑on experience configuring, operating, and improving CI/CD pipelines

• Interest in guiding and supporting team members and contributing to technical leadership

• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal

• Proficiency in a Scandinavian language is preferred

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with one or more programming languages

• Familiarity with Jira or similar tools

• Practical experience with technologies such as GitHub, PostgreSQL, AWS, Linux, Terraform, GitOps, Argo CD, Kubernetes, Docker/Podman, Grafana, Prometheus, or Octopus Deploy

• Professional experience as a software developer

• Knowledge of, or experience within, the intralogistics industry
