Technical Support Consultant
Advanced Systems & Automation
Are you technically minded, curious, and at your best when solving complex system challenges? Do you enjoy digging into technical issues to identify root causes and deliver solutions that truly matter in mission‑critical environments? If so, this could be the opportunity for you.
We are looking for a Technical Support Consultant to join our support team. In this role, you will work with advanced automation solutions, where software, hardware, databases, and system integrations operate closely together. You will support customers and internal teams with technical issues that require analysis, system understanding, and precision – not high‑volume, scripted support.
This position is well suited for someone looking to grow within technical support, with a clear development path from 1st‑line to 2nd‑line technical support. You will be part of a highly competent, collaborative environment where quality, learning, and continuous improvement are key.
Your responsibilities
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for complex solutions combining software and hardware
Analyze system and application issues to identify root causes and long‑term solutions
Handle, document, and follow up technical support cases in accordance with established processes
Prepare clear technical descriptions and solution recommendations for customers and internal stakeholders
Escalate cases to 2nd or 3rd line support, development, service/maintenance, or other specialist teams when required
Contribute to high technical quality and stable operation of business‑critical systems
Work closely with colleagues, developers, and technical specialists across the organization
Desired qualifications and experience
Education or relevant experience within IT, software development, automation, or technical systems
Strong interest in – and understanding of – how complex technical systems interact
Experience with or knowledge of:
SQL and database technologies
Linux environments
System monitoring and root‑cause analysis
Experience from technical support, application support, system operations, or similar roles is an advantage
Ability to communicate technical issues in a clear, structured, and professional manner
Thorough, organized, and attentive to documentation and follow‑up
Experience or interest within industrial automation, logistics, or related technical domains is a plus
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Comfortable with shift work and on‑call arrangements as part of the role
Who succeeds in this role?
You will thrive in this role if you are analytical, technically curious, and quality‑driven. You enjoy working methodically, investigating complex issues in depth, and understanding why systems fail – not just what went wrong.
You stay calm and structured in critical situations and are able to explain complex technical challenges clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. As a team player, you actively share knowledge, contribute to continuous improvement, and enjoy working in a technology‑driven environment where learning is constant and no two days are the same.
