As the HW Maintenance Director at Element Logic, you will play a pivotal role in planning, directing, and coordinating the operations of our Maintenance Division. Reporting to the Senior Director of Customer Success, you’ll lead a team of electromechanical technicians, shape maintenance strategies for cutting-edge automation equipment, and ensure our services exceed customer expectations. Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of electromechanical technicians, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Oversee staffing, scheduling, performance reviews, and training programs to ensure technicians have the skills needed to support advanced automation systems.
Provide clear direction, technical guidance, and escalation support for complex troubleshooting scenarios.
Review financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement.
Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to maximize uptime and extend the lifecycle of automation equipment (e.g., conveyors, robotics, ASRS, PLC-controlled systems).
Establish maintenance standards, workflows, and KPIs aligned with company goals and customer requirements.
Determine staffing requirements, and interview, hire and train new employees, or oversee those personnel processes.
Monitor the division to ensure that it efficiently and effectively provides needed services while staying within budgetary limits.
Oversee activities directly related to providing maintenance services.
Determine the Maintenance product portfolio, set prices and terms, based on forecasts of customer demand.
Coordinate with Sales/Marketing/Estimating on the maintenance product portfolio to support new sales and marketing activities.
Plan and direct activities such as training, commissioning, and maintenance activities related to automated equipment.
Desired skills and experience:
Years of relevant experience: 4 – 10 of experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent
Amount of travel required: 50 – 75%
Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite programs.

Physical demands:
Mobility: Ability to move through operational areas (warehouses, mezzanines, equipment rooms) for inspections and audits.
PPE Compliance: Must be able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (eye protection, safety shoes, hard hat, respirator if needed).
Occasional Lifting: Up to 20–25 lbs for inspections or emergencies (not routine heavy lifting).
Environmental Conditions: Comfortable working in industrial environments with varying temperatures, noise, and heights (e.g., ladders, mezzanines).
Travel Flexibility: Ability to travel frequently (50–75%) and adapt to different site conditions.
Schedule Flexibility: Available for escalations, occasional nights/weekends during critical incidents or commissioning.

Salary range: $100,000 - $135,000
