We are looking for a passionate and results-oriented Business Development Manager to take charge and fuel our next phase of success.
As our Business Development Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind our sales efforts, opening new doors, and identifying high-potential market sectors. In this role, you will lead our initiatives by conducting impactful marketing activities and engaging in initial meetings with potential customers. You’ll play a vital role in guiding prospects from initial interest to closing new business sales, making a tangible impact on our growth trajectory.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure strategic alignment within the sales area to drive business objectives.
- Proactively identify our target markets and define the plan to acquire customers in those markets.
- Develop and maintain strong C-level relationships with future customers.
- Attend industry conferences and events to network and promote solutions.
- Focus on value-based offerings to our customers throughout the sales process.
- Offer solutions and expert advice to meet customer needs.
- Collaborate with project management and aftermarket services to ensure seamless operations.
- Contribute to refining procedures and structures for better customer interactions.
In this role, some travelling in the Benelux region should be expected.
Desired skills and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, industrial engineering, or a related field.
- Candidates from 3PL, automation technology, mechanical engineering, forklift technology, lift technology, or similar fields are encouraged to apply.
- Minimum of 3 years of B2B direct sales experience in intricate 3PL, automation/intralogistics, or complex mechanical goods.
- Experience in an international corporate environment is a plus.
- Conceptual understanding of technical concepts and supply chain is a must
- Experience in intralogistics with a focus on material flow organization and customer-centric process understanding.
- Proven track record of developing sustainable customer relationships and successfully acquiring new clients.
- Proficiency in English and Dutch is required.

Strong sales and service orientation, along with excellent negotiation and communication skills, are essential. You should have organizational abilities and capacity to work under pressure that will help you manage multiple priorities effectively.
