Are you ready for an exciting and challenging role as a Project Engineer at Element Logic?
As a crucial link between the sales and delivery departments, you will be responsible for creating detailed designs and drawings for various projects. You will receive design drawings from the designer in the sales department and work from these. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with external suppliers to ensure that the designs are accurate and up to date throughout the project's lifecycle. You will also work closely with project managers, site managers, and those working on design in the sales department to ensure seamless project execution. This is a unique opportunity to use your technical skills and creativity in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Create and merge detailed drawings into a comprehensive layout.
- Develop 3D drawings for AutoStore systems and steel platforms.
- Prepare standardized electrical plans, reference point drawings, and cladding plans with parts lists.
- Coordinate layout interfaces with external suppliers and perform collision checks.
- Integrate layouts for conveyor technology.
- Support the project manager with supplier inquiries.
- Identify relevant suppliers, prepare material lists, and necessary RFQs.
- Verify offers against technical requirements.
- Report status and progress to project managers and within the department.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
- At least three years of experience in a technical field, preferably in intralogistics or machine/plant production.
- Strong technical understanding of mechanics, electricity, and automation.
- Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD and Inventor 3D; and MS Office.
- Experience with BIM software and relevant systems is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills and critical thinking ability.
- Good English skills, both written and spoken.
