Job Description

An internship is your opportunity to understand how we work. It’s also your chance to show us that you have the right skills and attitude to succeed here. Our internships are paid positions—offering opportunities to use what you’ve learned at university on real projects.

You will have the opportunity to participate in one of the following projects, and it is important that you specify which of the projects you want to be a part of.

Project 1: Workflow Development for eOperator

Step into the forefront of warehouse robotics by contributing to the development of new workflows for eOperator, our robotic picking system. This year’s focus is on creating and testing concepts like automated trolley picking with/without AMRs, multi-order processing, or human-robot collaboration. These workflows aim to increase productivity and meet the unique needs of mid-sized warehouses without the need for larger infrastructure.

Project 2: Data Collection and Analysis

Explore the potential of product and order data to enhance logistics and warehouse efficiency. This project focuses on designing smarter systems to automatically gather and analyze product attributes like weight, shape, and dimensions. Additionally, you will explore use cases such as categorizing products by fragility or suitability for robotic handling. This is an opportunity to apply advanced analytical techniques to solve practical challenges in the logistics industry.

What will you do:

• You will join us for 2 months (middle of June to middle of August) on full time basis
• You will work in a team of about 4 people on one of the above projects, mentors will support you throughout.
• At the end of the internship period, the candidate will present a summary of what he/she has done, learned, and potential ideas for further development and findings

Location of work will mainly be in our office at Kløfta, Ullensaker, with the possibility of some days working from Forskningsparken, Oslo.

Qualification

• Cybernetics and Robotics, Computer Science, Data Science, or similar fields, 3–4-year students.
• Experience with programming, knowledge, and interest in robotics and/or data analysis.
