Element Logic in Kløfta is currently looking for a Technical Lead System Administrator who is seeking new challenges in an international environment. The position reports to IT Director.
This opportunity is a fully remote position, therefore, candidates anywhere in Europe are encouraged to apply.
Purpose of the role
The Technical Lead System Administrator will have overall ownership and technical accountability for the Microsoft D365FO and D365CRM system environment. This to secure that Element Logic has a stable, robust management and operation of its solutions, through our service provider(s). This is a technical focused role, responsible for owning all the technical aspects of the products, such as documentation, processes and procedures, testing, management of environments, licenses, operation and support contract(s), vendor management etc.
The role is also responsible for continuous improvement, and the adoption of the solutions in the organisation together with the Super Users, from a technical perspective.
Duties and responsibilities
- Manage all levels of system administration support for all Dynamics 365 environments.
- • Management of production and test environments
- • Manage and monitor system performance, availability, and integrity.
- • Manage upgrades/updates support and communicate maintenance notifications.
- • Assist with the testing of new or existing features, and or updates and the effect of application changes to current or new systems.
- • Incident management for D365 environments
- • Engage with appropriate internal and external resources to resolve technical issues and keep users updated on progress toward resolution.
- • Responsible for system admin tasks for D365 such as (e.g., security access; employee/role on/cross/off boarding etc)
- • Work with functional teams and internal stakeholders, according to the governance model, to understand and gather requirements to design and develop modifications and extensions to Microsoft Dynamics.
- • Use of Microsoft Dynamics development and reporting tools to design, develop and test customizations, integrations, and reports.
- • Responsible for technical tests - performance, integrations
- • Vendor and service provider management
- o Responsible for ensuring proper licensing and utilization of platform.
o Management of service levels
- • Contribute to IT policy documents (security, integrity etc.)
- • Contingency planning (preventive)
- • Risk assessment and mitigations within areas of responsibility
- Perform system admin tasks for business applications as required. Other duties as required commensurate with your skills and experience to ensure on-going secure and supported systems.
Competence Areas
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Senior experience as Administrator of an ERP System.
• Senior hands-on operational experience with D365 Finance and Operations Enterprise.
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 functional capabilities centred around Finance and Operations.
• Understanding of LCS (Lifecycle Services) for monitoring performance and resolving issues.
• Experience and understanding of Microsoft DevOps.
• Curious or knowledgeable in Workflow, Business rules, D365 Portals, D365 Marketing and Power Platform.
• Good working knowledge of MS tools such as PowerApps, PowerBI, MS Office 365, SharePoint, and Active Directory.
